Hey Jonathan! Sry for my late reply :D I can see on your website that there is a problem with the theme and carousel addon. If both were the latest versions the website would work. The Lay Theme version you have installed is the one were updating was broken cause the updating service that I used back then went offline without warning. I'm sending u everything u need via email.

Hey Patrick, I tried to replicate this but for me it worked. Maybe there are some special circumstances with your site and that's why it didn't work. If you like you can send me your wordpress admin panel login data with a link to this post to armin.unruh@gmail.com Then I could temporarily activate cover for phone and test it myself.

hey please go to customizer->menu style->menu and check "is fixed". then the menu bar options should appear again. i wonder why i coded it like this, gonna fix this.

You can change this CSS that you got: .sitetitle.txt, nav.primary a{ -webkit-transition: color 300ms ease; -moz-transition: color 300ms ease; transition: color 300ms ease; } to: .sitetitle.txt, nav.primary a{ -webkit-transition: color 300ms ease, top 350ms ease; -moz-transition: color 300ms ease, top 350ms ease; transition: color 300ms ease, top 350ms ease; } That should work. The custom css you got there overwrites another css, thats why you didnt see the transition.
