Did you have a look at this plugin?

Then you can easily change the colour with some jQuery.

But still you will need some basic knowledge of jQuery or Javascript.

You are right about the transparent thing.

If you have a background colour selected and also have a transparent gif or png it gets oevrwritten in the Front-End.

But there is a solution:

If you use the plugin I mentioned above you can use a fading effect:

And then it also changes between background-images.

unfortunately you cannot stack objects on to of each other yet.

You can either create another row above the image. Or you can work with captions and move them up with Custom CSS.

Both are workarounds and not clean solutions.

I hope soon we can implement the feature to stack elements on top of each other in the same row.

this is possible with Custom CSS.

First you need to get the Slug of the page you want to style.

You can get it by inspecting the page and have a look in the body tag:

In my body tag you can see slug-fullscreen-slider. That is the name of the page.

You can now use that slug as a parent div class for all elements you want to style on that page.

For example:

.slug-fullscreen-slider .a { color: red !important; }

You might need the important or not. That depends sometimes.

Just play around with it.

This is sadly not an option yet of LayTheme. But I wrote it down for future improvemements.

The only way to achieve what they have is to place two images and link them to previous projects.

Or if you are good in jQuery you could swap the links from those images on the bottom with the links of the arrows.
But I think this is rather a dirty fix.
