and create a backup of your website. then you'll get a zip file and installer.php file

afterwards your webhost can take down your website and you still have your website's content backed up

so the issue was in the language setting, the default language that the website is shown in must be set correctly:

its not enough to just go to customize → frontpage and set the translated page as a frontpage,
because the menu will be using the default language set in Screenshot 2024-02-05 at 14.32.48.png
