    hey scoobydooh, u can embed instagram using "+more" -> "+embed"

    if you need to embed live feeds you can use a service like https://www.juicer.io/ and embed it by copying their embed iframe code and entering it with "+more" -> "+html" in the gridder.

    Ok first question

    Is it possible to set permalinks to get "website.com/work/project-name", if "work" is a category.

    Yes it is possible if you enter "/%category%/%postname%/" in "Settings" -> "Permalinks" -> "Custom Structure":

    but I like to know if there is an option to add automatically new projects on homepage

    This is on my todo list! I'm going to code a gridder element called "project thumbnail grid" where you can choose a category and then you don't have to manually add your thumbnails. Sry about that but at the time you need to add thumbnails manually to an overview.

    Only the elements can update if they are synced as described here http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-phone-layouts

    Hmm anytime you do a change on the desktop version you can delete the custom phone layout version

    and then click the phone button again to create the phone layout again by "copy same layout"

    hey phil! sorry for my late reply.

    Well, lay theme does not currently support menus with submenus. Those menu points will show up, but there are no extra options in the customizer for styling them. So as of now you need to style them yourself by using custom css.

    You could do:

    .sub-menu{ margin-top: 10px; }

    in "Lay Options" -> "Custom CSS & HTML" -> "Custom CSS for Desktop Version"

    there's no easy way to change the burger icon right now. I need to add an option for that one day. I didn't try out your custom css, but I guess there's no way around using custom css at the moment.

    Hey!
    You can use css for that.
    In "Lay options" -> "custom html&css" -> "custom css for desktop version" put:

    #footer-region{ background-color: transparent; }

    Or you can go to "customize" -> "background" -> "background color"
    and here just put an empty value into the field like:

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
