    Hey apspencer!

I just checked myfonts cause i have a webfont there too.
When im using the "webfont kit builder" then I'm getting these files:

    Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 08.56.58.png

I then rename the .woff file to myfont.woff cause lay theme doesnt support fontfiles that start with a number in their filename.
Then I upload the font and it works.

If you are doing the same and it does not work for you, please send me your webfontkit to armin.unruh@gmail.com along with a link to this topic

    Hey kim!

When exporting with migrate db, afaik you only export 1 file which is a gzipped sql file. Or just a sql file.
    Should look like this:
    db2597341-migrate-20160827085604.sql
    or
    db2597341-migrate-20160825173231.sql.gz

This line of text contains all Customize settings. Search for the word "pa_icon" and find some text that looks like: "pa…

What you are referring to here only applies if everything worked but your customize settings are lost after you imported the database. Actually this is a pretty rare case, but I had this problem once.

hello, yes this can happen if you upload the zip that you get. You need to unpack the zip as mentioned in http://laytheme.com/installation.html "Step 3". Inside there is a file called "lay.zip" and thats the one you need to upload. You probably figured this out by yourself but I'm just posting this in case others experience this problem. :)

Hey, yes all-inkl is especially problematic with wordpress. For this host often the htaccess isn't writeable and the uploads folder isn't writable.

    alright, you got an email!

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
