Installation Problems

Did you follow the steps in "How to Install" and "Troubleshooting" but still have problems? And your webhost support could not help you either? Ask here.

    Hey! Hmm, I think transferring your domain takes some time. Meanwhile you should have gotten a different web-address from bluehost to access your website. Can you ask them about this problem please? I hope it will work :)

Please send these infos to my email armin.unruh@gmail.com website address address of new lay theme website login to wordpress backend ftp server/host, ftp username, ftp password login to webhost (a webhost is where you got your webspace) Then I can migrate for u!

    Hey can you please send me a link of your website? is it possible that the content doesn't show up because WP is not installed at the website root but in a /new directory? Hmm no I think that should work

    I hope u could fix the problem! Sometimes it's just enough to go to "settings" -> "permalinks" and hit "save" again

    You're right, it's a bit difficult. If you like you can write me your webhost login and wordpress login in chat. And I can see what I can do. This is not really a lay theme issue, you would need to do these steps with every wordpress site when you want to move a wordpress site to another domain.

    Thanks! Yeah Till Wiedeck designed that site, he's really good! I'm gonna make a little change for the next update so it will work too, when you upload .woff files like "12345.woff" :D

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
