Got an idea for Lay Theme? I might include it in a new update or code an addon.

    it is always worth a try. You cannot break anything.
    At least to seriously. Still a backup is a good idea.

    Youtube embed not working

    Hmm so when I try to add the video I get a 401 Unauthorized error

    Not sure, is there any setting on the video that blocks websites from embedding it? I know vimeo has settings like that.

    You can also embed the video with "+more" -> "+embed" and then insert the iframe embed code you copy from the youtube video's share modal.

    that is not possible. Either you have the carousel or the image slider by LayTheme.

    Maybe the image slider is the way to go.

    there is not a fix yet. but we wrote it down.

    if it is very urgent and cannot wait you could do that with jQuery.

    maybe to build it as CUSTOM HTML is also a good solution.

    You can use CUSTOM CSS to change the colours of the links. DOn't forget to use !important.

    I think you are looking for something like:

    Add this to lay options -> Custom <head> content

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
