Got an idea for Lay Theme? I might include it in a new update or code an addon.

Would love this feature. There are a lot of possibilities for page construction with this option.

Indeed there was an issue with the service I used for getting youtube video details. If you update lay theme now it will work again.

Dear @manuel_k Great idea :) and of course this seems like the right next step. Armin is working really hard to create Woo-commerce integration for Lay Theme at the moment, however will add this to the development notes for future discussion! If you have any further questions let me know & best wishes Richard

@OfficeForDesign Hello, Please re-insert the images that do not work and re-insert the font that does not load in lay options -> webfonts before doing this though make sure you have updated lay theme and its addons to the latest versions. you can only update lay theme if you have entered a license key

Dear @strayorbit Unfortunately this is not possible from the standard options provided, However if you have have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS & JS you can fairly easily implement this onto your page through the "+ More - HTML" option within the Gridder - [image: 1600088010534-screen-shot-2020-09-14-at-2.50.29-pm-resized.png] Alternatively you can use "Custom CSS & HTML" in "Lay Options" [image: 1600088019865-screen-shot-2020-09-14-at-2.51.54-pm-resized.png] Adding a Video through Custom Code: https://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.asp With this option you have much more flexibility over how you control the video along with options to add a loading Gif: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8230748/how-to-add-loader-image-to-html5-video For more information regarding CSS: https://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-css-styling Additionally when using Javascript we need to remember to load it into Lay Theme with a "Newpage Event" : https://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-javascript Also if using jQuery, to replace the shorthand symbol '$' to 'jQuery' If this becomes too problematic you may wish to seek the aid of a developer. I once again apologise that the option isn't as easy and that i cannot help further with Customisation, however if you have any further questions please feel free to ask :) Best Wishes and thank you for using Lay Theme Sincerely Richard

Dear @Max-Weinland Im back! Apologies for the delay, I do not think a child theme is completely right however - Yes you can make a child theme and make adjustments to the Styling etc as you desire, the difficulty is that we cannot provide deeper support for one's personal customisation of Lay Theme, Making Child Theme's can require more maintenance as eventually larger changes made to the parent theme can cause unexpected bugs and issues, providing support for this would be an endless task, as each person's child theme would be different. You can try methods and solutions as you wish but i am unable to hunt them myself at this time, also if you are already in contact with a developer, Lay Theme provides the options we have available & i'm sorry that i cannot help further or change its structure, I am happy however to to take your requests and add them to our development notes for future reference & discussion. Sincerely, I wish you good luck in finding a solution that works for you, Best Richard

Dear @pete I was curious too! I De-actived & Deleted My Lay Theme and re-installed it from the basic original Folder - Lay.zip, My content was still there waiting, [image: 1598465365302-screen-shot-2020-08-26-at-8.03.25-pm-resized.png] [image: 1598465372503-screen-shot-2020-08-26-at-8.03.32-pm-resized.png] [image: 1598465378997-screen-shot-2020-08-26-at-8.03.39-pm-resized.png] "Projects" now being "Posts" - And then when re-installed My content was still there, [image: 1598465518765-screen-shot-2020-08-26-at-8.11.45-pm-resized.png] I would always advise backing up the folders through your Webhost as a safety precaution, be careful :) Hope this helps Best Richard

@edgrbnz Thanks, I didn't think about this idea, but I prefer not to make it complicated for the client (managing 2 pages for 1 project), who in the end will have to manage his website...
