Any Custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed. And third-party plugins de-activated to see if this resolves the issue. Ah, yes you'll need to enter your license key, update lay theme and then it should work. Lay Theme is only updateable with a valid license key. Just send an email to licensekeys@laytheme.com with an invoice or some email or proof of purchase and Richard will create a key for you or send one!

Dear Paul @Paul-Lnrs There is always the general setting within 'Lay Options- Carousel settings' here you can control positioning of captions. However if you really want to force the captions to be somewhere e.g top left and fixed you can target the captions with Custom CSS: .lay-carousel-sink-parent { insert custom css here } The Custom CSS options located in 'Lay options- Custom CSS & HTML' https://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-css-styling Apologies that i cant take you all the way to the exact answer Paul but i hope this helps you in the right direction :) Best wishes and a wonderful day Richard

Dear Jonas @jonasschulte Great to hear you came to a solution, using the z-index is a good way to do it :) Of course things may change in the future but due to your code's simplicity i don't think it will be an issue.
