Hey all! You can update to lay theme 1.7.3 and update the carousel to version 1.1.0 and then you can add texts as slides. Sorry that I took so long to work on this. ^^

hmm do you know any other Carousel which has this feature. no :/ yeah, I'm sure it would be good to make a very popular slider like https://revolution.themepunch.com/ work with lay theme. But I'm not sure if that can do what you need.

Hey! Now there is a Lay Theme update available: 1.7.1 You will have a new option in: "Lay Options" → "Misc Options" → "Never show resized versions of your images" You can try that. That might slow down the loading of the images. I also added more sizes in my code (2560, 3200, 3840, 4096). So in case you want to keep using the normal way lay theme shows images, now it will also show bigger ones. For the Lightbox there is now an update 1.2.1 which has a new similar setting: "Lay Options" -> "Lightbox Addon" -> "Never show resized versions of your images" Please let me know if that helps! Hey Pascal! Having a Lightbox active for a page just means that you can click images and they become bigger, like here: http://jessica-willis.com/ If that doesn't work can you send me the link to that page where you have lightbox activated?

Yep, I need to fix that, gonna work on that now. Hey, ok so I re-checked now and maybe it's because you don't have the latest version of the lightbox addon. The lightbox addon's latest version is 1.1.8. Maybe you don't have the latest version because all the addons were also affected by the update service breaking. I wrote an email to everybody who had bought an addon and explained how to install the new versions, maybe u didn't get that email. I'm sending the latest lightbox addon version to your email address! Please try that version and then let's see if the problem persists.

Yeah hm, I think lightbox is just working on pages and projects. Going to change it one day so it works on category pages too.

Hey Walker, if you want to have an overview and show images in a bigger size too, then the lightbox addon is the right choice I think. What you want here can't be easily done with lay theme.
