    @ErEs said in Responsive Image Carousel with fixed height:

    for my website i would like to have a responsive carousel with a fixed height (might as well be browser height), which does not change its height even if on smaller screensizes.

    you can set a fixed pixel height

    using a custom phone layout u can create another carousel with another fixed pixel height

    "Give elements a max-width and max-height and center them" effect for single images

    no :/

    hello!

    thanks for you answer!, yes, I got there, but in the "text formats" page and while creating a character style I cannot set a shift in the baseline grid (sub/superindex) or a different line height. I did a custom Css that says:

    .Author{
    baseline-shift: 3em !important;
    }

    .Title{
    baseline-shift: super !important;
    }
    (title and author being the character styles that I created in the text formats)

    nothing changes when I apply these character styles in the text editor

    any solutions?

    thanks!

    just hide the site title in customize -> site title

    then create a menu with a submenu and put it in the corner

    of course the first menupoint of that menu should be the same text as your site title's

    hey not possible,

    maybe create a textformat that uses that certain color and then use that textformat on all of the texts you want to use the color for

    maybe try to put !important behind

    like:
    font-family: Armag-FuryItalic!important;

    Dear @NAS

    Lay Theme's native CSS may take precedence and not be overridden.
    You should use it sparingly, but if needed you can use the !important property: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_important.asp

    @giselach all usability-questions put aside, I think the problem is the margin between the rows. while the letters get smaller with smaller window height, the rows stay the same size (it seems to me).

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
