back and forth and fullscreen Slider

Hi Guys
I was wondering if - besides the options to go back and forth - if there's an option to click on a image and make it fullscreen? Would it be possible to add this functinality by reducing the hovering space left and right on the image and leave some place in the middle to click and make it fullscreen?
Like in this example here: https://lay.thisisthis.ch/versus_installation/
Would it be possible to create an area in the middle of the image where one could click to make it pop up fullscreen?Thanks for any Hints!

there is no official way to do this.
What I could imagine is to place an image with CUSTOM CSS or some x- or y-offset.
Then make it invisible. But when you click it opens the slideshow.
I think this is not possible in a carousel though…Let me know what you think.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
