Gutenberg – to be enabled by default, soonish
-
Since Wordpress Version 4.9.8 the new Gutenberg gets heavily advertised. I'm not that sure what this will mean for Lay…
Will these things interfere?
Or will Lay and Gutenberg work side-by-side?
Is it better to install the Classic Editor?I read a few things about the new editor but didn’t dive too deep into what this thing can and cannot do. Right now I only appreciate the name of that new editor 🙃
Any info regarding compatibility and what’s best practice for now would be appreciated.

@mariusjopen Good to know! Thanks!
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
