Subtitles in Lightbox?
-
Dear Lay Team!
As I've written quite some time I really like your work, it helps a lot so thank you!
I am using Lightbox and I'm wondering if there is any possiblity to put in titles / descriptions under a picture.
My situation is that I have a lot of pictures spread over the page via the grid. I would like to keep that page as clean as possible, so I don't want to add some text there.
Lightbox is active, so if you click on a image, it appears full screen. And I'm looking for an solution to put some text there (when you're in lightbox as a viewer). Because there are some descriptions to add to the pictures but as I've said I would like to keep the page as clean as possible.
I hope you understand what I mean :)
Thanks a lot and all the best
Sebastian

Hello again!
And I have another question. It doesn't really has sth to do with Lay but I would be grateful if anyone can tell me sth about it. I hope that's OK :/
I just did google page speed test and it suggested me to switch to jpeg 2000 or xr. Now I did a little research and learned, that most of the browsers do not support that (yet?). Now I'm wondering if there is a possibility put the pictures in the wp database twice, one normal jpg and one new one, so that supported browsers show the new version and not-supported browsers show the normal one. The best thing would be if a plugin could handle that of course.
So is that possible or does it even make sense? I'm a freelance photographer, so SEO is kind of important for my page. But that doesn't mean that it is the most important thing and I have an specialist for it... I just try to do it as good as I can within my possibilities...
If OT things aren't supposed to be posted here, I'm sorry for it. Just ignore or delete this. Otherwise thanks a lot for your answers.
All the best!

Dear @sebastian_e
Captions
Right click an image in the Gridder and choose "Edit Lightbox Caption".About the other thing.
That is not really possible. Maybe you can find a Wordpress plugin what will do this?Best!
