Custom CSS & HTML / Save Changes doesn't work

HI!
When I edit my Custom CSS & HTML and hit Save Changes, it redirects me automatically to my website without applying the changes I made. Is there a way to fix this? I use Chrome, but tried other browsers. Thank you! Best

When I hit the button Save Changes, it redirects me to

showing my website, no changes were applied.

Did you migrate the website from another website?
Maybe something got mixed up.

I would try to isolate the problem.

I would copy and paste all the CUSTOM CODE into a text file to not lose it.

Also do a backup of your website.

Then update and see if the problem remains.

I think this is what might be happening:

Can you talk to bluehost/your webhost about this?

Bluehosts' firewall might block you from updating lay options, because of all the html and javascript.

To quickly test if this is the problem you could remove all css and js and html from lay options → custom css & html and then hit "save" and see if saving lay options works then.
Of course make sure to backup all your css, js and html that is custom in there. Or maybe backup your database.
