I tried this code and it works great! Only thing is the background is showing up as white (instead of transparent). I use a lot of full screen images and want the scrollbar to overlay instead of cutting the image off. Any advice? Thank you!

Beautiful site @Hayo-Gebauer 💯
I second Armin’s advice with the project links. -

Hallo Hayo,
your website is very nice!
I would like to ask you one question.
After viewing a project, I would like to come back to the homepage previous scrolled position when I press my browser back button (history.back()).
You managed to do this on your website.
Would it be possible telling me how you did this?
That would be very kind of you! Thanks

huh, I actually didn’t put any code into that I believe. I’ll have a look into that and will let you know
-
@Walker I think this is standard behaviour since LayTheme is functioning as a single page application.
As long as the site knows the site you were coming from it’s jumping back to the same scroll position. That should work w/ all the shortcode links like next project, previous project, etc.But I don’t really know the details on when and how this works… perhaps @mariusjopen could provide some in depth knowledge on that topic.

Good idea! We will write that down!
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
