White lines around images
-
Hi guys. I'm working on this website now: https://betweenfriends.co.uk/lsb
If you click the opening animation, you will see below a black on black image "a tab of creativity". There are lines on the top and bottom edge of the image. There were lines on all black on black images we used on this website, i.e. the logos which you can find below, which we had to render as one big image to avoid it.
What is causing this and how to get rid of it? We tried to replace the image in question with a transparent gif, but it still shows white lines at the edges of the file. If you resize the browser window sometimes they disappear, to reappear again when the size is changed. This is really unsightly and we'd like to get rid of it?
Thanks,
