Hide site title on projects pages
-
Hi,
First I would like to thank you for your great theme, I really appreciate it !
I would like to hide the site title of my website on all pages except on my home page, can you please explain me how to do this ?
I also need to add some links in the text of my site title, but when I put htlm inside the customizer, it doesn't work. Is there a way to do this ?
Here is my provisional website url to help you understand my problem : http://s545552121.onlinehome.fr/
Thanks a lot,
Regards,Hugo.

Hi Hugo,
with Page-Slugs you can target specific pages with the Custom CSS.
Just a quick example:
.slug-projets .primary { opacity: 0; pointer-event: none; }
This hides the navigation on the Project pages.
You cannot make a different link into the site title yet. You would need to put this into the Custom HTML.
I hope I could help!

Hi @mariusjopen
I'm trying to hide the site title in all projects (preferable ONLY for the mobile version)
i tested the code in Custom CSS you once posted:
.slug-projets .primary {
opacity: 0;
pointer-event: none;
}
After placing the code the site title is still shown everywhere.
Your post was from 2017 – is it maybe different now caused through updates?Please help me out here:)

@mariusjopen thank you anyways. I just got rid of the site title now everywhere
But could you send me a link to a full example code of how to use a page id properly? I tried a couple of times to code sth for specific pages/projects only but it never worked out :-(
-> i need this for a mirrored selfmade bilingual option (EN/DE buttons ) popping up in the very upper right corner on a specific page/project forwarding to another specific page/project
-> and to create a "back to landing page"-button that only shows up in projectsThank you so much in advance! I think that could be how i'll be able to finally solve my "bilingual" problem!

Dear @Xamreglip
is there a chance that you can show us the website? That would make things much easier.Here is a good explanation of how to use Page-IDs for CSS:

Need custom programming for your Lay Theme site?
I regularly add new features to Lay Theme for free, based on user feedback. But if you or your client need something more specific, I’m happy to offer custom paid programming tailored to your project.
Email info@laytheme.com with the subject "Custom paid programming for Lay Theme" and a short description of what you need — I’ll reply with a cost estimate.
Custom features I build often make it into future Lay Theme updates, so your idea might benefit the whole community.
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
