Caption in Carrousel not showing

Hi!

I purchased the Carrousel addon in September last year but haven't used it until now. With the images everything is working well but it won't show the caption/numbers — I activated captions in lay options & have a textformat assigned. Do I have an old version of the addon? Any idea how this could be solved?

Hey maybe you have an old lay theme version? the latest is 1.6.8

I have the 1.6.8 version! But I got it when it was for free. could it be because I don't have a license key?

Ok. No lay theme should still work fine even if you don't have a license key. Ok, maybe you got an old carousel version. A few months ago, the updating for carousel broke too so the really old carousel versions cant update to the latest version anymore. I sent out a mail about that to all people who had bought a carousel addon back then but maybe u didnt get it.
U got mail now! :)

I was editing it in caption window in attachment details

If I editing like you show, it's working. But I think it's confusing.
