removing the permalink in single page sites

hello
i've setup a very simple website. https://fritschy.cc/ the content shown there is a page which i set as frontpage. however, the permalink changes automatically to https://fritschy.cc/home which i want to avoid. how can i remove this "home" in the url without making use of a category?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
