Wordpress stock excerpt removal...

Hello - I know excerpts aren't used in the Lay Theme, but I'm wondering if it's possible to EDIT the stock Wordpress excerpt. Right now all my projects have this attached: "welcome to Wordpress, this is your first post..." and I'd like to remove that in case it's messing with any SEO anywhere. Is there somewhere in the code to remove that?

something wrong with your website. I cannot click and the console is full of errors.Do you have any third-party plugins installed or CUSTOM JS code? Is it possible to deactivate it for a moment to see if the problem remains?

Ahh bummer. That was the Yoast SEO plugin. - That should be fixed now.

I do not follow you what exactly with excerpts you mean.It sounds like an example post from Wordpress - which you can delete?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
