Mobile Fullscreen Slider problems: text not visible & Continuous Horizontal not working

Thanks for the update, it solved the first part of the problem on mobile, but only on Safari not google chrome.

Also, the second problem that @Georges mention is still the same. Indeed the continuous horizontal does not work on mobile (chrome and safari). On the desktop, when you click on the last slide (with the fading option activated), there is not a fading animation, it jumps brutally to the first slide.

@AStudio Can you clarify what exactly solved the invisible text problem for you?

Well ok! I just updated to 2.9.8, and bingo, the text captions now show up on mobile in Fullscreen Slider. Problem 1 solved! (Removal of any JS or plug-ins not necessary)

Now, “Continuous Horizontal”, which, like @AStudio, still stops at the final slide rather than looping back to the first.

ok, the carousel works on mobile basically.
But the images fade in in a weird way and it does not continue with the first slide, once the last slide is reached.
That's the issue, right?

It's Fullscreen Slider we're talking about here, not the Carousel add-on. Slider on mobile is working fine, text boxes are now visible when placed in a row with image set as background.

The remaining problem is “Continuous Horizontal” with Fullscreen Slider on mobile. Even though it's turned on, it doesn't work. When you swipe through all the slides (rows), it stops at the end, it doesn't slide through to the first slide again, as expected (and as it works on desktop).

Hope you can fix it!

Hey everybody, thanks for waiting for me.

Actually Continuous Horizontal does not work for mobile and never will. Please use the carousel addon instead if you want to do something like that. I will add an explanation text for this to the fullscreen slider options.

With the carousel addon you can also set the caption to be on top of the carousel, in the bottom left corner for example.

You're saying

My current homepage uses a Carousel, but I don't like how the page bounces up and down on mobile, hence my desire to use a Fullscreen Slider...

Can you send me a link where I can see the page bouncing up and down on mobile when using a carousel? If I would fix that, I think you could use the carousel addon instead of the fullscreen slider addon.

@Georges when using fading for fullscreen slider, there is no need to use continuous horizontal. That's just useful for when the fading effect is disabled.

@Georges for further problems / questions like the fading not working properly, please create your own new post.

@arminunruh Thanks for the response, even if it’s disappointing. Fullscreen slider is actually working really well now on mobile apart from it not looping on the last slide. That’s all. Really not possible? I guess I can try and remake the page with the carousel.

As for fading, I didn’t ever mention this. That’s something that @AStudio jumped in and added to the conversation.
