#Carousel - Text
-
Hi @arminunruh
Carousel works pretty well (exept maybe on safari's upload but it's not a big deal).
When u add one, we actually can choose between "add pictures" or "add projects", would be cool have "add text".
It might be an idea for the next update :) -
Hey baptiste, ok will write that down! :)
-
I'd love to also add to this request. Would be great if we were able to include text (preferably via an 'extended text editor so we can add styles etc.).
Also, do you think there could be any chance that there will ever be an option to add captions on top of the image? Something like the example below…
The grey obviously being the image itself. -
I'm working on a carousel update right now. It will be possible to have text as a slide. But I'm not sure about text on top of images :O
-
@arminunruh Again, thanks so much. Really looking forward to the new Carousel updates. Regarding the text on top of the images, It's probably a bit too much ha. Thumbs up!
-
@arminunruh Can't wait to see the update for inserting text in the Carousel because it would be very useful.

hey dnz,
sorry i was working on some bigger freelance projects and relaunched laytheme.com so there was not much time. and right now im working on a laytheme update. having text in a carousel is def sth that i want to add, maybe i got time by the end of this month :O -
Hey all!
You can update to lay theme 1.7.3 and update the carousel to version 1.1.0 and then you can add texts as slides.Sorry that I took so long to work on this. ^^
