Front page not displaying carousel after Laytheme update
-
@arminunruh
I've updated laytheme, version is now 3.1.6
I've desactivated / reactivated licence key, but it still doesn't work. -
ok great now please disable your caching plugin "endurance page cache" or somehow clear the cache
-
Hello @arminunruh! Thank you! My problem is solved! All best!

Hi !
I have a close problem ... since the update, the links in the carousel are modified, they are cut very oddly ... and no longer returns to the right page ...
For example :
http://www.thomaslang.fr/en/architecture turn into http://www.ecture/
I delete all the links on line, but you can check it here : http://www.thomaslang.fr/fr/home-2
Thanks in advance! -
@ThomasH just disable the plugin altogether
your lay theme version that is used on your website is still 2.9.0
so either u haven't updated lay theme or you haven't turned off your caching plugin@tl
please create a new topic for ur new problem next timecan you go edit your carousel and re-set the link please and see if it works?

no worries, its good if you report bugs, i need to fix all bugs!! :D
so i see the carousel working here:
https://thdg.info/thdg/selection -
True, Carousel works on the page you mentioned. However front page (www.thdg.info) stays blank, but should display https://thdg.info/thdg/selection page. It's how it's set in Customize / Front page, but its doesn't work anymore since update.

Hi Armin,
Seems I solved the problem after updating Wordpress to latest version, and reseting front page configuration in Customize / Front page
My front page is now no more blank, and displaying the carousel!Just to inform you, I'm now noticing another bug related to the carousel captions, that are all getting visible and stacked on top of each of them during images loading (screenshot below).
This issue has been reported by another user here http://laythemeforum.com:4567/topic/5340/all-captions-flash-on-carousel-upon-loading -
yea, i will fix it
