Carousel causes page to go blank after latest update.
-
As from title, i just updated the carousel plugin, which caused the page it was implemented it to just go blank.
I was just working on a page with the carousel in it, and as soon as I updated the plugin the problem showed up.
The page - linked below - is normally visible if remove the carousel.I just sent my access data to info@laytheme.com if that can help sort things out faster.
I appreciate any help - thanks. -
I had the same problem. Did you also update the lay-THEME ?
I had to update php version and the theme, then it worked again.. -
Everything's updated and has been for a couple days. The carousel update - which i did minutes before posting this - is what triggered the problem for me.

hey @Warul-Kawa
you need to update lay theme for the new carousel update to work -
@arminunruh same problem here -> http://www.florianreimann.com/sisyphus-monument/
(carousel + textbook doesn't show up. if I delete the carousel the text box appears)My dashboard shows that plugins + lay theme are up to date but also this note:
"UNREGISTERED version of Lay Theme. Enter your License Key to get Updates."
(I installed lay theme when it was for free and purchased the plugins separately)Any ideas how to fix this?
Thans,

Dear @Bananenmann777
you need to update lay theme for the new carousel update to work.
I hope you understand that we put a lot of work into the theme and cannot offer it for free anymore.
Best!

@mariusjopen thanks for your quick reply.
fair enough. will I have to purchase the plugins again or will they be still available after purchasing the theme?
(even lay theme was for free I had to purchase the two plugins separately) -
Dear @Warul-Kawa
cool. Thank you for the understanding.
Best is if you write an email to info@laytheme.com and include a link to this conversation.
Many wishes!
