Carousel skipping images

I have 4 images in my carousel, when you click the right arrow it skips from Image 1, to image 3. Click the right arrow again and it misses Image 4 and goes to Image 1 again.

Any reason why this could be?

Ha, oh yeah, sorry - that's a thing that's happening to me as well. If you go direct to a project's URL it won't work.

Would you mind going to the root of the link (sorry, don't want to post it here in case Google finds it as it's my name and I want to keep my Google results to just portfolio-only results, if possible). And click on the Taipei project to see the carousel error?

Great, thank you Armin! Really loving Lay Theme's flexibilities, you've done a great job.

So will this require me to update the plugin file once fixed?

Also any ideas why the pages beyond the root of my site aren't working as links and just come up with the navigation and no content?

I'm wondering if old themes or settings on my site are conflicting with Lay Theme. Going to delete and deactivate lots of extraneous plugins in the meantime.

Hey, yeah once I fixed this you can update the carousel plugin in the backend.

Yeah, it says "www.… redirected you too many times." maybe there is some redirection to a site that redirects back and then its a redirection loop. Can you ask your webhost why that happens? Maybe its a configuration problem. I guess its not a lay theme problem. You can try and activate another theme like twenty sixteen and see if the problem persists. Your content and settings will stay intact if you activate another theme and then activate lay theme again.

I was just trying to reproduce that error on my lay theme website but I couldn't reproduce it :/.
Do you have the carousel version 1.0.8? You can see which version you have when you go to "plugins" in your backend.

If not, can you send me your wordpress login data? You can send an email to armin.unruh@gmail.com , please provide a link to this topic so I know what the email is about.

edit: oh I just realized I can see the version you have in your code. So you have the latest version. Ok then I would need you to change your carousel settings again so you have the arrows. And then I will need your login data.

You also have a plugin activated "portfolio-slideshow" can you deactivate that and see if that changes things?

Hey, if you see that error again you can also try and update to lay theme 1.7.3 and update carousel to 1.1.0

Just updated but it's still skiping slides when I click on the next or previous buttons, but not when I click on the image or dots below the image.

Ok now thats finally fixed if you update to carousel v 1.1.2
The problem only existed when having no custom next arrow icon for the carousel. In that case the default arrows showed up and there was a bug with that causing images to skip.
