One-Time File Download Plug-In and theme is preventing all links that have # sign as url
-
Hello,
i installed the One-Time File Download Plug-In, but after not working the plug-in developer emailed me the following answer:
when setting "yes" to "Will the shortcode be used on posts, pages or widgets?" field, the link will be generated with javascript. But you're theme is preventing all links that have # sign as url, see attached.
Is that something that can be fixed?
Thanks!

Dear @Micha
Can you post a link to your website?
We will then have a look and inspect that!
Many wishes!

Dear @Micha
yes. We have some issues with the Shortcodes…
Do you have any third-party plugins installed or CUSTOM JS code? Is it possible to deactivate it for a moment to see if the problem remains?
Do you have everything up-to-date?
Wordpress, Plugins, Laytheme?
Many wishes!
Marius
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
