'Fatal Error' When Attempting to use Customize
-
Hi, I've recently installed Lay Theme, but I'm completely unable to access the Customize panel. Whenever I click the Customize button, I receive a 'Fatal Error' response like this:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /html/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 184
Any thoughts on what's going wrong?

Hmm interesting,
Can you try this please? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7PPnlJnNOg
Basically in the video he is editing his .htaccess file and he puts this line into it at the top:
php_value memory_limit 128M -
that worked - thanks armin!
