Phone Layout buggy after a while
-
Hello! Textelements (I guess also other elements) are buggy after a while and blast the format/gridder on the phone editor.
It is only after I already created a phonelayout.
A few days after - when I want to edit a bit - the textelements blast out.
I also cannot move and touch it.
The live-result is ok!
But I cannot work on it anymore and always have to delete the phonelayout and create it new. that sucks a bit.
I work in chrome. (Don't know if this is relevant...)
Can you fix it?

Dear @j36g2
Im sorry that i haven't replied to you much sooner this is my fault and shouldnt have occured.
Has the problem occured since the beginning or have you added any third-party plugins recently that may have caused a problem?
Does De-activating Custom CSS,HTML and JS additions isolate the problem?
If not can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
And we will take a deeper look.Thank you for your Patience, For using Lay Theme and for being awesome.
Have a lovely day :)
Sincerely
RichardBest wishes

Hey!
In the Custom Phone Layout please try to set the column amount to something other than 1.
Like maybe 6 for example. Not sure if that changes things. If you see a text that overflows, double click on the text to edit it. Then select all of the text inside the editor and click the "clear format" button.
If that doesn't help, select all the text, copy it, paste it in a texteditor like "textedit" if ure on a mac, then from there copy it again and paste it into the texteditor. this gets rid of special signs and html.
If you copy text from a website or word document or sth like that and paste it in the texteditor, oftentimes that text will contain lots of html markup and hidden special signs that might show up on the website or gridder incorrectly!

Hey Armin ,
your advise - creating more colums in the phonelayout - WORKED WELL! (I controlled it more or less by changing it, then logging out, then in, and then checking if the textboxes still blast out) - They now don't!JUST ONLE NOTE: it only worked by changing the colums in the --> Gridder Defaults (Phone).
(but didn't check existing "Apply "Phone Gridder Defaults" )Many thanks!!
I don't know if it still works when soon change some other things, (like another design, pictures, another plugin) in the future...
I will let you know if the problem again comes up!Cheers,
Juli
