qTranslate-XT - position of the language switcher
-
Dear Laytheme - I got to rework the portfolio website of some friends and are close to finish it.
Though there is one thing which causes some headache.Since their design demands a footer that is some below the entire pages content, I used your "Footer" functionality.
Now with the language switcher, it is apparently initialized by a shortcode for the usual nav-menu-section, which behaves differently in the document flow than the footer section. Though it needs to be present in the footer area.
Are you aware of any ways on how to use the shortcode for the languge switcher outside the menu-element?
Thanks a lot for your support (even though I am aware that qTranslateXT is a third party plugin that you do not really support. but maybe someone made an according experience)

Dear @mesomaxl
Yes interesting problem
Thank you for understanding how we have difficulty figuring out certain problems with Third-party plugins :)I still wish that you find some help though, But am unable to hunt for a solution at this time.
I apologise for this but will keep thinking!
Thank you for your patience and for using Lay Theme.
Sincerely
Richard
