          Hi @mariusjopen,

the error doesn't appear on the front end, but on the back end immediately after clicking 'Update' on any project. I get this error everytime, no matter if I just change a single letter in the project description or change images.

          WP debug log says:

[03-Jul-2020 16:05:33 UTC] PHP Notice: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /home/***/***.com/wp-content/themes/lay/frontend/assets/php/elements/el_functions.php on line 476

              @frnzgrnwld

              thanks for the heads up!
This seems to be a new issue related to php 7.4

Really sorry this took so long to get through to me.
I just did a fix for this. Could you update lay theme and try again?

              If it doesn't work:
can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?

Not to hijack this thread, but on further inspection, it's only this one page where I'm encountering the HTTP Error 500 upon making any text update and hitting โ€œUpdateโ€. And this is the only page where I've updated some of the links with the new Image Hover Add-on feature. Other pages are updating fine. Could it be something to do with this new Add-on? Hope this helps with solving the issue! Please help!

                            Dear @Georges

If your sure that it isn't any third-party-plugins or Custom HTML,CSS or JS code creating problems & that by de-activating these the problem still remains

Please can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?

Thank you for using Lay Theme

                            Sincerely

actually after further inspection this seems to be an issue with the configuration of mod_security of some dreamhost websites.
mod_security is a firewall that thinks when saving a post with lay theme this is a server attack.
                                I'm in contact with Dreamhost.

I had a case with someone else where we had the exact same problem. He solved it by switching to PHP 7.2 or 7.3 in the webhost control panel.

Thanks very much for the extra work here, Armin. I hope this helps the original poster and everyone else with this issue. I turned off mod_security, waited 10โ€“15 mins, and now it's all working again, I'm back to updating that page without any HTTP errors.

                                      Howdy,

I tried to update the Lay Theme and Wordpress today and now my website is down.

                                      URL is: www.rubensousa.net

I can't access anything anymore (also not the admin page) due to "HTTP ERROR 500".

I'm in the middle of sending job applications and this is so urgent to fix. Any help would be more than Welcome! :x

                                      Ruben
