text overlay over cover is not working

Hi, I cannot put text on my cover image? The cover explanation video says it should work. but when I want to put it te text on top of the image, it says, I cannot put it here.
I tried to position the text below the cover in the next column and work with the y offset, but the text is not visible when it moves out of the grid position.Does anyone now this problem?

Is it possible to provide a visual reference for what you are experiencing?
Also as a first step of debugging do you have any third-party plugins installed that could be interfering? along with any Custom CSS, HTML or JS ?
Does de-activating the plugins and trying without your Custom Code provide any insight?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
