Custom CSS file location
-
Hello everybody,
I already tried to search something about it in the forum, but with no luck.
I was wondering if it would be possible to access to the Custom CSS & HTML file via ftp and modify it freely on whatever editor code app. I think it would be much easier pressing cmd+S every time, as well as finding the right line, etc.
I already tried to find the file in the themes>lay folder in the ftp, but with no result.Did anybody tried it? Is it possible?
Thanks in advance,
Melo -
Dear @melo_lenosier
Interesting idea, however this cannot be done so easily,
The content is combined together with a compiler and saving the individual CSS file, would not necessarily update the whole theme properly,
If you wish to keep hunting this is completely up to you but we can't provide deeper Forum support for whatever may occur ( at your own risk - shouldn't manipulate theme etc )
Apologies that this isn't an easy fix :)
Best wishes & thank you for using Lay Theme
Sincerely
Richard -
I see... Could I please know anyway where this compiler file is?
Thank you -
Dear @melo_lenosier
I am unsure where the specific Complile file is or if there are multiple. Picking apart the theme is not my specialty.
I'm sorry that i cannot offer further support for this style of Customisation,
Good Luck on your Lay Theme journey and thank you for understanding.
Sincerely
Richard
