Fixed element

Hi Armin,
is it still possible to fix an element by using simple parallax? I've checked this forum and it seemed to be possible with the old simple parallax.
Thanks for your help!

Hey!
it's much better to give the element a class and then make it fixed using regular css.
First in the gridder hover over your element, click the "<> class" button and enter a class: fixed-elementNow you need to insert CSS in "Lay Options" -> "Custom CSS". You need to give the element a position like in a coordinate system with "top" and "left" like here:
.fixed-element{ position: fixed; top: 200px; left: 30%; z-index: 5; }
You can also use "top" and "right" for example.
See more examples and an explanation here:

Hi Armin,
thanks a lot for your help. One additional question to this topic: As I want to use my fixed elements as a navigation I would love to add a white menu bar behind these elements. Any chance to add a fixed div box or is there another way to work this out?

.fixed-element{ position: fixed; top: 200px; left: 30%; z-index: 5; background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.8); padding: 20px; }
maybe something like this, with a background color that has some transparency and padding.
