Next Project button won't align to the right
-
Hi There.
Just getting started with Lay theme after the tip-off from Emil Olsson. Absolutely love it - great work!
Having a problem with the next project button though in a Page.
If I put two blocks of text in the Gridder saying 'Prev Project' on the left, and 'Next Project' on the right and save it it looks fine as per the screenshot. However. when i right click on each of these and convert to a button using 'use as previous/next project link' it correctly text aligns the previous button on the left but wont right justify the 'next project' button.
Very strange.
Any idea why? Or is this a bug?
Best,
Duncan

hey!
this seems to be a bug. Right now you can fix it by doing this:Give the "Next Project" textfield a class in the gridder by hovering over it and clicking the "class" button. Type in: next-project-custom-css
Now in "Lay Options" -> "Custom CSS & HTML" please put this into your Desktop CSS field:
.projectlink{ display:inline-block; } .next-project-custom-css{ text-align: right; }
That should work. I'm happy that Emil recommended lay theme. I will recommend his new theme too when it comes out :D.

Hey man - thanks for the speedy reply!
So i followed your steps and the same thing is still happening - the next project link is halfway across the page rather than aligned right.
Any other ideas how I could fix this?
Yeah im glad he did too as I've been looking for theme as good as this for a long time :)

hey dmb! whoops sry for my late reply. Can you send me a link to your website?

hey, this is fixed now with lay theme 1.8.0!
Please take a look here http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#next-project-link
With that method aligning text will work. You might want to delete your old "next project" and "previous project" links, create new textfields and insert them the new way.
The old "next project" and "previous project" links that you have created before will still work though.
