Yoast SEO configuration doesn't work due to interfering plugin, common problem?

Good evening,

I've just updated my website (Wordpress + Laytheme + addons). Now I thought I should finally also install Yoast SEO to implement SEO. However when I want to start the configuration, it says:

'The configuration wizard could not be started. The likely cause is an interfering plugin. Please check for plugin conflicts(Opens in a new browser tab) to solve this problem.'

I don't have any other plugins installed besides the Laytheme addons.
Is this is common issue or am I missing something? Would be great if you could point me to a solution :)

Hi,
I would also be interested in this solution. I installed the Yoast SEO plugin and small things like fetching preview did not work anymore. Are Yoast and Laytheme not compatible?

"All In One SEO" works fine for me. I checked some YouTube videos before... many different setting options.

@Markus hey markus, i'm having issues with both yoast and aioseo.
AIOSEO doesnt recognize any of the content in gridder, constantly giving me a 0/100 score for all of ,my projects. any idea what might be wrong? do you get an SEO rating for your page content?
