HTML5 Videos not always starting directly on mobile version
-
Hello,
I discovered that HTML5 Videos on my mobile phone sometimes don´t start immediately even though I have put them on autoplay & loop.
Do you have an idea whats the problem or which setting I have to change?
Here my Website:

Dear Laura @Laura-S
Im having trouble recreating the bug - Im looking on Iphone 12 with Safari
What devices are you using & browser?
Also to be sure:
-
Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?
-
Any Custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.
-
Any third-party plugins de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.
-
If using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
-
License key not activated - (in website blank situations or button not available)
-
If your WordPress Dashboard shows a warning "PHP Update required"
please update your PHP version in your webhost control panel.

Dear @Laura-S
That performance video is so cool! :)
Yes im using an Iphone with Safari - The only thing i had was a 4 second delay while the video loaded and then it kicked into autoplay?I reloaded it 5 times just to see what the behaviour was, everytime it autoplays
I saw that the video was 7.4mb - if needed you could using "Handbrake" to compress file size:
https://handbrake.fr/I still wish to help Laura - to try & see what your seeing?
Best
Richard
