carousel images flicker in Safari

maybe that issue does not happen if you disable the slides looping.
I think if you edit a carousel in the gridder, there is a checkbox "Loop" and you could try to uncheck it and see if that's better.

of course i'll need to take a closer look and fix this

@arminunruh I have the same problem with flickering images in carousel on safari - do you have a solution for this? Have the latest update and tried the disable looping but none worked!

i believe this is caused by the "loop" feature being turned on
please turn it off and also disable the feature "lazyload images" in lay options -> carousel addon

Is there any update on this? I'm also having this issue on a website for a client of mine. (https://miragefilms.be/) Only in safari.
I tried disabling the loop function and the lazyload feature but that didn't help so I re-enabled them.
I see that @sooe is also still having this issue on https://justinpiperger.com/ .

I was unable to recreate the Bug on Safari for https://justinpiperger.com/ & https://miragefilms.be/

( no issue on chrome either)

Am i mis-understanding something? Also trying to recreate the Bug on my test site doesn't produce Flicker https://rickei3.dreamhosters.com/project-a/

Please confirm:

Flicker still occurs with Lazyload disabled and Loop Disabled ?

Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?

Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.

Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.

Does testing in an Incognito window produce a different result?

well the carousels have loop activated, so it will flicker on safari unfortunately
that is a bug with the carousel library that i use in the background "swiper" itself, i cant do much here.
you can use the fading carousel instead, that one doesnt flicker
