Re: How to return to the exact same scroll position when going back to previous page
Hej,
I have a page with a lot of project thumbnails and I would like to return to the same scroll position after returning from a project. I read through the other threads and tried out some code people posted on stackflow but nothing seems to work properly. Is there anybody who has had the same problem and has found some code?Otherwise, is there a way to disable lazy loading only on the specific page as it would probably work on a static page but I dont want to have all pages static.
Thanks, Louis

I have searched for hours and of course just after creating the post I have finally found a code which seems to work well so far :)
source: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9377951/how-to-remember-scroll-position-and-scroll-back (last answer)window.onbeforeunload = function () { var scrollPos; if (typeof window.pageYOffset != 'undefined') { scrollPos = window.pageYOffset; } else if (typeof document.compatMode != 'undefined' && document.compatMode != 'BackCompat') { scrollPos = document.documentElement.scrollTop; } else if (typeof document.body != 'undefined') { scrollPos = document.body.scrollTop; } document.cookie = "scrollTop=" + scrollPos + "URL=" + window.location.href; } window.onload = function () { if (document.cookie.includes(window.location.href)) { if (document.cookie.match(/scrollTop=([^;]+)(;|$)/) != null) { var arr = document.cookie.match(/scrollTop=([^;]+)(;|$)/); document.documentElement.scrollTop = parseInt(arr[1]); document.body.scrollTop = parseInt(arr[1]); } } }
