Intro image does'nt work
-
Hi everyone, @Armin-Unruh, @mariusjopen,
The Intro image of my website doesn't work has expected.
The image keeps appearing differently every time I refresh the page, on all the browsers I've tested. It blinks, fade out really quick and actually doesnt respect the settings. My theme is up to date and Wordpress too. Here is the link
Assuming that this problem can be fixed, I have a second request. I would like to have a selection of 3-4 different images appear randomly on each new visit to the site, is this possible?
I hope someone can help.
Thank you! -
Dear @Loris
The issue only seems to apply to your Desktop Layout. The problem occurs with this in the developer console. Relating to your Fullscreen Slider Addon:
-
Please make sure all Addons are up to date.
-
Please temporarily remove any Custom Code.
-
Also the connection with the Lay Option's above ā¬ļø> Lay Options > Fullscreen Slider Addon
I have tried to recreate the same Bug but haven't been successful yet. Would be great to understand further.
Best wishes @Loris & talk soon š
Richard

Dear @Richard,
Thank you very much for your reply! The problem only applies to the desktop layout, as I have not yet set it on the Mobile Layout.
Step 1)
ā¢ All addons are up to date.
ā¢ I have configured the connection with the Lay Option as you have done.
Result: nothing has changed, the problem remains the same.Step 2)
ā¢ I removed all the Custom Code from Desktop Layout.
Result = The Intro image seems to work as expected. It is a good news, but unfortunately I can't get rid of my Custom Code, I'll have to put it back as soon as possible.
How can we fix this issue from here?
Thanks and best,Loris

Dear @Loris
Great to hear that it's functioning normally. š„
Technically it's up to you with Custom Code how you wish to solve the issue. However there are a few steps that should help you moving forwards.
With all Custom Code out and Intro functioning normally:
-
Add back 1 chunk of code at a time, Checking for when the bug reappears. This way you would have at least isolated the Chuck causing issue.
-
( By 'chunk' of code i mean segment E.g 'Custom CSS for Mobile, or 'Custom <head> Content' ,
-
Now with the problematic segment of code, apply that same strategy to each phrase of Code within. Add 1 Phrase or declaration of code at a time and see if you can isolate the Bug further.
-
If you reach this point, it would be very helpful to post the bugged code here so I and other users can inspect it š
-
Always in regards to Custom Code refer to the 'Documentation' page when needed.
Talk soon Loris & have a great day š
Richard
