Footer on predefined woocommerce pages
-
Was also checking this and I think you are right @caromo
-
Is there any way of adding the normal footer from Laytheme on the predefined woocommerce pages?
-
Dear @umdoistres
No, It got passed me that you cannot, I had wrongfully assumed you could because it is selectable/working from the Back-end.
Unfortunately the data is not conveyed to the #footer-region as it should.
I will forward this to Armin, hopefully a solution may come in the next update β
Thank you for the Bug πand have a wonderful day @umdoistres, thank you supporting Lay Theme π
Sincerely
Richard

Nice one @Richard - thanks for checking it - it did seemed a bit unlogical to me also but yeah as you said the #footer-region info is not being added to the woocommerce predefined pages.
Looking forward for the correction :)

hey
footer works for me on woocommerce pages.
did you follow these steps?https://laytheme.com/shop.html#footer
the only place the footer is not shown is on single product pages which is by design.
mmh maybe i should show the footer there as well.can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
then also please send a link to a page where the footer is not shown and where it is supposed to be. -
Hi @arminunruh
I think you are talking about the "new" footer you have included on the shop feature right?
We are talking about the "old" footer one can setup on laytheme settings to add on all webpages.
In order to have a coherent look on non shop "pages" and shop related pages would be good one could had the normal footer present in laytheme before the "shop footer". (hope you understand it).

no whats new is there is an element that can be used for footers. but the footer settings themselves havent changed. im publishing an update now so the footer should be visible on product pages too.
other than that, the footer should be visible on your cart page as well if you have set a footer in "lay options" β "footer" β "footer for pages"
mh i will take a look at your website if u send it to me by email:
can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?

Hi @arminunruh
well I just updated the website for the newest Laytheme version and now the footers one can setup via lay options appear on woocommerce related pages also!
All good now! thanks!

Hej @arminunruh,
Unfortunately, when I activate the footer on all pages, I can currently only select one language. I have installed Polylang, but automatic switching is not possible.
Is there another solution for integrating the footer on the single product page via PHP?
Thanks in advance,
Fabi
