Hey, there are endless text doubles which still appear after deleting. Tried with several Laptops/Ipads, Phones- with empty cache. I use Mozilla. How can I delete and avoid these doubles while updating my page? Same text appears again and again, endless scroll. It did not happen before. First time. Thank you.

Any custom code </> that may interfere is temporarily removed.
Any third-party plugins are de-activated.
If using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
License key not activated - (in website blank situations or button not available)
If your WordPress Dashboard shows a warning: PHP UPDATE REQUIRED Please update your PHP version in your webhosting control panel.
Additionally take a look at https://laytheme.com/troubleshooting.html for known problems.

wrote on Aug 3, 2021, 7:39 AM last edited by@Richard Hey, thank you for your reply, but everything is updated and it still not functions. I tried to build a new "About" page: Every time i close the window for text editing, the oldder version appears under the edited version. It does not delete. How can this be? Its Element grid/ masonry/ text. I am afraid to test it with other pages, i already crashed 3 pages of my site and it looks unprofessional/ i cannot update it. What ca ni do? Thank you.

Hi there, I have the same problem – it’s annoying.
In my case the bug seems to be related to my multi-language plugin qTranslate-X which i use. Furthermore I use Chrome …My only way to stop the endless doubles is to remove the text element and create a new one - every single time when I make a change.

Dear @LIS @thymian
Do you both use Qtranslate XT? 🔍
https://laytheme.com/documentation.html#multilanguage
(Armin) " I cannot guarantee that all third party plugins will work with Lay Theme. "Also reference to Polylang worth reading
Please always test Lay Theme and its addons in a vanilla environment. ( No Custom Code, No 3rd party plugins, updated versions of Theme and Addons ).
If the Bug occurs in this environment please send me a message via 'chats' with reference to this thread.
Best wishes 🌝

Yeah it's an incompatibility with Q-Translate X....
I also code custom websites or custom Lay features.
