Use of oEmbed for video/media implementation

Just a suggestion, I don't know if it is hard to implement the oEmbed API.
With it we could use any links (and not only youtube and vimeo) when pushing the "Add video" button.

Well there were some requests for embedding instagram and soundcloud but what other things do you want to embed?

@arminunruh I just needed to embed a Dailymotion video and the original embed code provided by dailymotion is not responsive so I had to use an extra script...

Maybe it is easy to rewrite these addon for Kirby and make it work in your wordpress theme ?

oh ok found out how to embed. maps work fine but issuu only shows in backend not in frontend. any ideas? oh man and by the way i'm super thankfull for your theme its more than great!

@sascha hey Sascha, how did you embed the maps? Did you just add it in the text field? Or were you able to add it properly and have it resize and style it? Would be super helpful to know, thanks!
