Projects don't show up with version 4.0.0

Since updating to version 4.0.0 pages with projects don't show up any more. When I make a new page with an image everything is fine. But as soon as I add a project thumbnail to that page nothing can be seen any more. The projects themselves can be seen only in the backend. What to do??

Hi!
I had a similar issue after updating to 4.0.0 on one of the sites I'm working on.
The pages with a thumbnail grid on them were unavailable and displayed the "there has been a critical error on this website" error message.
I switched the PHP version to 7.4 and everything worked again. -

Thanks for the update! Yes PHP version 8.0 sometimes causes issue.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
