    Would it be possible to have separate front pages for mobile and desktop?

    The reason I am asking this is, that for Desktop I prefer Project Index and for Mobile I prefer a Thumbnail Gridder.

    I know I could just use the Custom phone layout but I think it would be more neat to not have the Index switch to Gridder when the browser window is resized.

    So my solution would be to have 1 Index page and 1 Gridder page. The goal would be to have the Index page as the front page for Desktop and the Gridder page as front page on mobile devices.

      Dear Hayo

      @Hayo-Gebauer

      So the issue is that you dont like the "hard transition" from Index to Gridder when the browser is re-sized?

      I had suggestions but they would still make this switch when the browsers is resized.

      The only thing in my mind right now would be to re-direct to a certain permalink based on device. This would require some good coding to detect the users devices on website load and then decide wether to redirect to page/permalink A (Project Index) or page/permalink B (Gridder).
      It would be two different projects or pages entirely. It may also require you to activate AJAX compatibility so there are hard page reloads. Lay Theme is a single page JS Application that only hard loads when first visiting the site. Newpage events are used to then navigate around the website but without any hard loads creating the smooth experience.

      ( that got a but wordy there sorry.....)

      Apologies that i cannot be more helpful at present Hayo but good luck & best wishes, it's a worthy goal ⭐️

      Sincerely
      Richard
