Possible to use Fullscreen Slider for listing Projects?
-
Hello there!
before purchasing the add-on I need to be sure I can use it to list Projects or Categories.
Similarly to here: http://www.femmefatale.paris/en/projects
Second question: How is the best to group projects by Categories on a page? I haven't bumped into that option anywhere so far. Can you insert a "Categories filter" on a page, that would show me only belonging Projects?
Thanks a lot! :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow that website has a pretty cool scrolling effect! Because of testing the addon, I sent you a mail.

At the moment there is no such thing as a filter for projects like here on the frontpage:
http://meireundmeire.com/This is a feature I want to add one day. Can't tell you when though :/
At the moment I guess the best option is to have different pages or "category layouts" ( go to "projects" -> "categories" and click on a category name to find a category gridder ). Then you can put your thumbnails into those pages and add those pages to your menu.

Hi Armin,
thanks a lot. Hopefully it will work for us! :smiley:
I've already noticed a strange behaviour: When Fullscreen Slider used together with Cover Enabled on a Project, the Project's content become unaligned when accessed through the Slider.
Please see here:
http://plane-site.com/projects/test/
- list item 1st Project is with Cover Enabled - you see content being pushed to the left.
- list item 2nd Project without Cover and everything looks fine.
Thanks a lot!

hey tom!
Hmm this is how the first slide looks for me:
seems normal no?
what browser are you using?The cover feature does not work combined with the fullscreen slider.

@arminunruh Please try clicking on the two projects. One shows correctly (2nd one), the 1st one incorrectly.

hey treh, so I see the bug yes but I cannot recreate it on my own lay theme install. Could I please take a look at your lay theme? If you could send me your wordpress admin panel login data with a link to this topic to my email: armin.unruh@gmail.com then I can take a look and fix this.

@arminunruh Sent! :bowtie:

Thx! I fixed it. There's a new fullscreen slider update available that fixes it. I installed the update on your wordpress already.

@arminunruh Thanks a ton!!:smiley:
