Can I somehow use Lightbox without having pictures on a project page?

Hej lovely Laytheme-Community,
I am wondering if it's possible to use the Lightbox Plugin without placing images on the Gridder?
Occasionally I want to create buttons with links to summarize certain projects as a Slideshow ...Or maybe some one of you could recommend a plugin which is similar in style and functionality like the one which is coming with laytheme?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
