    Hey guys!

I just updated and gave a “new year facelift” to my website! I'm really glad to have been able to use Lay Theme for that – great work by the team! :) I would be glad if some of you guys could visit my site and maybe gave me a feedback – or just enjoy it :)

    Happy new year to y'all,
    All the best, xx

    Théo

Hey Théo. Great website! Looks stunning.
I am currently working on a website with a similar filter system using the new filter tag option in lay theme. unfortunately it is not working the way i want right now so maybe you could help me out.

        1. how did you manage when clicking on a filter the whole filter set stays the same and wont rearrange, while still being combinable?

        2. how did you work out having categories, each one with different sub-categories (=tag filter)?

        thanks in advance.

          Hey @ErEs !

Thank you for visiting my website, I appreciate that ! :)

I'll try to answer your questions but the set up is pretty simple, so I don't know what is going wrong with yours.

          1. If I'm not mistaken, I didn't do anything special to have that desired effect. I just used the Project Index as it is. But maybe you can have a look at the Customize section > Project Thumbnails, once your Project Index is activated and see if there are some useful parameters there!
          2. For each project I basically set up one or more categories (Identity, Logo, Publication, etc…) which are the ones underlined in my Project Index filters. And I also have tags (Culture, Architecture, etc…) which are the ones in the “bubbles”.

          Hope it helps!

Hi. Is the category and tag display you have on your site (really nice, btw!) a built-in feature in Laytheme or is it custom? I'm not clear, and not seeing anything in documentation/tutorials.

            Thanks!
            Ivan

              Hey @ivan-dabbles

Maybe that feature will appear in the new documentation the team is currently building, but in the meantime, have a look at this IG post they made https://www.instagram.com/p/CVlU9SMMAVs/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
It shows how to use the tag filters with the Thumbnail Grid Elements.

I just styled the border with CSS but the rest is just Lay Theme doing the job! :)

              Cheers,

              Théo
