Re: Pre Load images in Fullscreen Slider? Eliminate Image Placeholder? Strobe effect
Hey, some images flash once with the fullscreen slider add-on active β but just in Safari. I updated everything and deleted custom Javascript. Is there a solution for this?

Dear @jwk
I viewed this page on two seperate Incognito window's. One with your Custom CSS applied and one with it removed. The Flicker only occurs on the Custom CSS version so it must be something in there π
Best wishes
Richard

Dear @jwk
Thanks for the update, just to be sure, with any custom CSS & JS removed, did you then test in an incognito window? this way the Browser is not displaying a cached version of the website. Likely a Bug but wish to be sure π
Thanks @Baptiste for the input, would be good to solve any Bugs! do you have a link to the page with the flicker?
Talk soon β¨

I have the same issue, basically always, with any Laytheme website. For expample this one (slider below): https://www.natagroup.de
I tried with and without lazy loading the images

What if the theme doesn't have fullscreen slider? It's happening to the carousels.

wrote on Apr 8, 2022, 5:57 PM last edited by@arminunruh were you able to take another look at the issue yet? Because it doesn't seem to be connected to any already fixed bug (no pending updates). Nonetheless I experience the "blinking" effect of images in Carousel sliders on every website that uses LayTheme Carousel. It'll be GOLD it you could fix that somehow... Thank you!

Dear @thomasmaier
If you can confirm that the Bug is not a result of any Third-party plugin, CSS, Javascript or outdated version of Lay Theme & its addons, then:
Please send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
Armin can then have a better look πβ
Any relevant videos/screenshots of the flicker behaviour will also help.I will forward this to him as well π
Best
Richard

Dear @thomasmaier
Are you able to test this behaviour in an Incognito window?
- loop disabled
- page/project updated
- No Cache plugins activated for testing
Best

Do you have a suggestion for a proper No Cache plugin? Thanks! What Wordpress offers seems confusing.

Not sure personally @thomasmaier you would need to try a few simple ones out and see what works best.
