Any news on this request? Still relevant if i want to show content or projects not entered through gridder, from like for example USP...

Could also be useful for old content created with the standard WP text field. Maybe it would be some kind of setting for new posts/projects where to autoinsert content from standard WP text field...

This would unlock this theme as a theme for social networks too :)

Was this functionality integrated since?

I already had a website, bought the Lay theme and am now unable to view and integrate my blogroll/works posts from that theme onto Lay Theme.

I really need urgent assistance with this, as the website has a considerable archive to be consulted at any time, besides I need to set up posting templates so I don't have to use gridder every time I want to post a new article.

Please help asap!

This was a long time ago sorry (thread wise) But if i am correct Blog integration with Lay Theme does not exist still.

Important to note that LayGridder was created to work on other theme asn blogs but still able to use the functionality of Lay Theme as a plugin:

I must say though, with Lay Theme, completely bypassing wordpress regular posts and/or blogrolls means for those who have existing sites with post archives to have to copy over every single piece of content by hand and republishing everything, safe for the media content, which is present.

If I understood this correctly (will wait for your confirmation on my statement above), this characteristic of Lay Theme should be very clearly stated in your commercial information about the theme on your web page. Potential customers should not assume they can simply use Lay Theme as a theme (read Wordpress skin with extra options with an emphasis on options), but in fact it's a portfolio site builder with flexible layout building, though, and very importantly, without proper integration with Wordpress posts. I'm thinking the price tag requires at least that clear information. I've seen a couple of posts referring to Lay Gridder, but that's another purchase, so my issue is not resolved this way, because the license we've acquired is for Lay Theme, and not for Lay Gridder plugin.

Again, how can we get timely assistance on solving this issue?

They are seperate products i believe, however:

Having purchased Lay Theme & it does not suit your needs, i am happy to create a download link for Laygridder so you can try this and see if it does suit.

If in the end Lay Theme or LayGridder is not what you intended then i am also happy to provide a refund. Wish to help you @jbcd2022

It is clearly stated that Lay Theme is a Portfolio website but i agree and am happy for feedback. The fact that existing Post content will need to changed over manually maybe should be stated somewhere and i have added it to the development notes for future discussion.

We wish to give Lay Gridder a try then, maybe in this way we'll be able to integrate the layout builder and carousel without losing the website's functionality.

Which would be the best way to get this done? Please let me know as soon as possible.
